Eric Himan may seem like a walking contradiction, with the brooding good looks and tattoos ... and yet this rising young star is openly gay ... in a business that is anything but gay friendly. On top of that, he has chosen a difficult path to stardom. Without the help of record labels, booking agents, publicists, or management, Eric is making a name for himself on the indie rock Scene. He’s been featured in just about every national gay publication and the mainstream press is starting to take notice as well. With no fewer than six full length studio albums to his credit, Eric is currently touring the country and working on his own record label, Thumbcrown Records.
